Role Description
Foster Financial is seeking a full-time, on-site role Bar & Entertainment Manager for an existing bar located in Metro Detroit. This bar has been in business for over 50 years and is in need of a light physical refresh and the addition of live entertainment. This is someone's opportunity to be a part of an iconic bar's transformation while honors its tradition. From light project management for building improvements to building out audio/video, live entertainment, etc., this is an excellent opportunity to grow your resume and see the full turnaround of a community staple.
Note that work hours may vary and can potentially be long, but rewarding. The role will be a mixture of office hours for planning, ordering, and scheduling entertainment, as well as on-site work in the bar for light bartending (with tips), ensuring a clean environment, inventory, and supervision of the rest of the bar's staff.
The bar currently employs approximately 6-8 bartenders with a pizza food program being rolled out that will require 1-2 employees. This role will be responsible for hiring/firing, staffing, ensuring there are no gaps in coverage, and essentially running your own bar.
