Heath Carousel - Local or Travel Contract Perfusionist

Job Details

• 13 week contract.
• Shift: 40 hours per week, which includes rotating shifts plus call obligation (including weekend and holiday rotations). A 30-minute response time is required when on call. The schedule follows a 13-person rotation, with an equal number of: morning shifts (0600-1430) afternoon shifts (1400-2230) call shifts (1st, 2nd and 3rd Call weekday and weekend shifts). Call shifts are 24hrs (0600-0600)
• Trauma Level I experience required.
• $5,296 per week.
• Yearly Earnings = $275,192.

Requirements

• 2 years of experience in a Level I as a Perfusionist
• ABCP Certification required
• Willing to obtain Connecticut state license
• BLS

Additional Job Details

• Work throughout the hospital (i.e.: Cath Lab, Emergency Room and ICU). Responsibilities: Provide perfusion support for elective and STAT adult open-heart procedures (CABG, AVR, MVR, Aortic Repairs, AngioVac, Heart Transplants, ECMO and Acute VADs) Provide perfusion support for non-cardiac procedures such as: Liver Transplants HIPEC ECMO (VV) Autologous Blood Recovery Provide perfusion support for cardiac support devices: IABP Impella CP, 5.5 and RP Flex ProTek Duo ECMO (VA) CentriMag HeartMate 3.
