Job Description

Lion Tree Group is currently seeking a full-time motivated and experienced WordPress Website Designer to join our team. We are a Madison-based agency focused on creative thinking and helping our clients elevate their brands via digital media, as the voice of their products and services.

This position is responsible for the design and development of WordPress sites. This individual will be accountable for the strategies and functional activities as they relate to the effective delivery of our web development projects.

The Skill Sets Required

  • Experience with WordPress, WordPress plugins, & Elementor page builder. Possess the ability to create high-quality unique graphics & and implement them effectively. The candidate should have experience creating and maintaining functional, aesthetic websites for all different business types. The candidate must also have a real-world portfolio showcasing legitimate website or graphic design skills.
  • Experience in Photoshop and Illustrator, as well as knowledge of Adobe Create Suite, is necessary. This position requires high-level creative thinking, conceptualization, problem-solving, and implementation skills.

Essential Functions And Responsibilities

  • Ability to create sophisticated website layouts for an array of different clients and industries.
  • Design, & execute a website strategy that maximizes UX and UI.
  • Strong conceptual thinking and involvement in the creative process from conception through execution.
  • Attention to detail and ability to consistently meet deadlines. Time management is key to success in this position.

Qualifications

  • Must have at least 3 years of experience in WordPress website design
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Proven understanding of emerging digital trends and technologies
  • Degree in Graphic Art Design, Website Development or other related field
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to switch between projects
  • Proficiency in WordPress, Photoshop and Illustrator
  • A positive, can-do attitude with high-level dedication and a collaborative spirit
  • This position doesn’t require coding proficiency, however, experience in HTML, CSS and PHP is a plus.
