About the Role

As a Video Editor/Producer on our Brand Studio team, your contributions will be key in helping us distinguish and define Ramp as the brand leader in our category. The Brand Studio team is a multi-disciplinary team responsible for design, imagery, video, writing, and operations. We work on high-impact and foundational projects across the company—from shaping our brand voice and tone, establishing the design systems that underpin our website, brand advertising, sales and marketing materials.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in end-to-end video production—filming, lighting, audio, interviewing, editing, and creative storytelling—with a particular emphasis on post-production workflows. You'll be responsible for producing and editing videos featured across brand touch points like our website, events, product demos, marketing campaigns, and social media. You’ll collaborate closely with the brand leadership team and cross-functional partners to create compelling visual content.

Please note: This role may require periodic travel to on-site locations (approximately once every 1-2 months)

What You’ll Do

  • Manage all aspects of video production, from pre-production planning and filming to editing and post-production at our NY office (occasional travel may be required).
  • Execute post-production tasks, including reviewing footage, assembling rough cuts, editing, color grading, audio adjustments, and final exporting.
  • Develop and manage project timelines, ensuring projects stay on track and meet deadlines.
  • Create engaging short-form and long-form video content optimized for various platforms (YouTube, social media, website, etc.).
  • Collaborate with Creative Directors, Brand Designers, Motion Designers, and Project Managers to bring projects from concept to completion.
  • Occasionally work with external agencies and freelancers to maintain brand consistency and elevate storytelling.
  • Participate in video reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers, helping to elevate the overall quality of the team’s work.

What You'll Need

  • 5+ years of experience in video editing and production, with a strong portfolio showcasing work in the tech, entertainment, or advertising industries.
  • Expertise in video editing software, including Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator), Cinema 4D/Blender (a plus), and Figma.
  • A diverse portfolio that demonstrates your ability to produce high-end commercial, social, and branded video content. Bonus points for hands-on experience in shooting video/films.
  • A deep understanding of storytelling through video, with a keen eye for emerging trends, techniques, and technologies to stay on the cutting edge of the industry.
  • Interest in AI and emerging tools that help with faster workflows.
  • Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Confident in presenting solutions to wider creative teams and working autonomously.
  • Ability to make hard calls and compromises—balancing tight timelines with executing quality work.
  • Ability to maintain a high bar for craft and elevate the work of others.
  • Capable of receiving and giving constructive criticism.
  • Kind, curious, generous, low ego, and a great sense of humor.

Benefits (for U.S.-based full-time employees)

  • 100% medical, dental & vision insurance coverage for you
  • Partially covered for your dependents
  • One Medical annual membership
  • 401k (including employer match on contributions made while employed by Ramp)
  • Flexible PTO
  • Fertility HRA (up to $5,000 per year)
  • WFH stipend to support your home office needs
  • Wellness stipend
  • Parental Leave
  • Relocation support to NYC or SF
  • Pet insurance
