Job Description

Unreal Engine Game Developer is an associate at Creative Chaos who will be responsible for playing a key role in creating cutting-edge gaming experiences. You will work closely with our team to develop and implement gameplay mechanics, AI systems, user interfaces, and multiplayer functionalities. With your expertise in Unreal Engine, you will be responsible for designing, prototyping, and optimizing game features to deliver high-quality and immersive gameplay.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement gameplay mechanics, systems, and features using Unreal Engine

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including artists, designers, and other developers to create a cohesive and immersive gaming experience

  • Create and maintain high-quality code, ensuring scalability, performance, and modularity

  • Optimize game performance and debugging issues to deliver a smooth and seamless gameplay experience

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to enhance the game development process

  • Collaborate with QA teams to ensure high quality and bug-free game releases

  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Game Development, or related field
  • Atleast 5 years of experience in Game Development using Unreal,
  • Strong proficiency in Unreal Engine and Blueprint scripting
  • Solid understanding of game development principles, including gameplay mechanics, AI, and physics simulations
  • Experience with multiplayer and networking functionalities in Unreal Engine
  • Proficient with C++ programming language for game development
  • Knowledge of software engineering best practices, including version control, code reviews, and testing
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
  • Excellent communication and collaborative skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
