Job Description

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated School Social Workers to join our team in a fully remote role based in California. In this virtual position, you'll work closely with teachers, families, and school staff to foster student success and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide counseling and social support to students, helping them navigate personal, academic, and social challenges.
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other school staff to create an environment that promotes the emotional and social development of students.
Conduct assessments to identify the unique needs of students and develop personalized intervention strategies to address those needs.
Facilitate clear communication between students, families, and school personnel to ensure a holistic approach to student success.
Address any barriers that may impact a student's ability to thrive academically or socially, including mental health challenges, family dynamics, and environmental factors.

Requirements:

Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.
Valid California Pupil Personnel Services Credential (PPSC) in School Social Work.
Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a school or educational setting.
Experience with virtual or teletherapy services is a plus, but not required.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills to effectively manage student cases.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
Access to a reliable computer and high-speed internet connection (Chromebooks or tablets are not permitted).
