Position Overview :

We are seeking a highly motivated Salesforce QA (Test) Engineer to join our team partnering with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). As part of this team, you'll play an integral role in maintaining and enhancing a Salesforce-based system used by millions of people, ultimately helping transform healthcare for the better.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive quality assurance strategies and processes across the project.
  • Oversee all aspects of quality assurance, including test automation, performance testing, and security checks.
  • Collaborate with a cross-functional team to enhance the development practices and ensure seamless integration and delivery.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the product requirements and architecture to effectively oversee quality validation.
  • Utilize emerging technologies and best practices in testing and DevOps to improve efficiency and quality.
  • Experience implementing test automation using tools such as Selenium, Appium, Soap UI, RestAssured, Postman, JUnit, Jest, Playwright, and GitHub Actions
  • Manage defect identification and resolution processes, ensuring all issues are addressed promptly and effectively.
  • Communicate technical challenges and progress to both technical and non-technical team members.
  • Ensure that all aspects of product quality meet compliance standards for accessibility, security, and usability.

Basic Qualifications :

  • 7+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong focus on test automation and quality assurance.
  • Extensive experience testing in Salesforce and DevSecOps environments.
  • Proficiency in CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Git, and GitHub Actions.
  • Familiarity with UNIX/Linux environments, shell scripting, and troubleshooting.
  • Extensive experience in Agile and DevOps practices.
  • Proven ability to work independently on complex projects.
  • U.S. Citizenship, Green Card, or EAD required.  
  • Must be able to meet any other requirements for government contracts for which they are hired ( e.g., must reside in the U.S. )

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Salesforce certifications (Salesforce Certified Admin, Salesforce Certified Service Cloud Consultant, etc.) 
  • Background in setting up QA processes in Agile & DevOps environments.
  • Demonstrated coding fluency with one or more programming languages in a working context
  • Experience with public sector projects, particularly in healthcare or government settings.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
