We are a fast-growing Minnesota Home Healthcare provider searching for Personal Care Assistants to join our team.

We have flexible shifts available and Part-time or Full-time positions available.

In this role, you'll have the opportunity to:

  • Provide care and maintain client confidentiality; treat clients and families with respect.
  • Understand, accept and respond to the emotional needs of each client.
  • Participate in in-service programs to meet compliance requirements.
  • Accept and fulfill assignments with Safeway Home Healthcare; exercise judgment in accepting assignments.
  • Perform other related duties and responsibilities as deemed necessary
  • Assist clients with personal hygiene, including showers, tub or bed baths, oral care, hair, and skincare.
  • Assist clients in the use of toilet facilities, including bedpans.
  • Assist clients in and out of bed, excluding the use of mechanical lifting equipment unless trained and documented as competent.
  • Assist clients with walking, including using walkers and wheelchairs, when applicable.
  • Meal preparation and feeding, when required.
  • Assist with prescribed exercises when the client and the aide have been instructed by the appropriate health professional.
  • Record and report changes in the client’s physical condition, behavior, or appearance to the supervisor.
