JOB DESCRIPTION

• This role is responsible the network and on-premises virtual infrastructure development, security, and operations (DevSecOps) focused team to create, deploy, integrate, and maintain hybrid/edge multi-tenant infrastructure designs for secured, scalable and resilient application environments.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Integrate network/computer/storage management systems for Cloud Service Providers and on-premises IaaS solutions into full-lifecycle service delivery and project management.
• Design and deploy secure, compliant network infrastructure supporting multi-tenant, virtualized, and High-Performance Computing environments across on-premises IaaS, cloud, or hybrid platforms.
• Develop and maintain network security, availability, performance, scalability, and monitoring for highly available, redundant infrastructure.
• Manage full life-cycle development for business-critical applications and end-user productivity software tailored for manufacturing, engineering, modeling, and data analytics.
• Research vendor network and virtualization guides to build secure, scalable, resilient infrastructure for enterprise application integration.
• Recommend redesigns for network and virtualization infrastructure to enhance security, scalability, and resiliency in various environments.
• Lead project requirement development, deployment, and operational release management.
• Maintain professionalism in all communications.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Information Management, or High School Diploma with 4+ years of IT experience.

Experience in enterprise network and virtual infrastructure management for multi-site, hybrid on-premises and Cloud Service Provider environments.

Strong experience with configuration, deployment, troubleshooting, and secure management of routers, firewalls, switches, VPNs, WAPs, IPSec tunnels, CSP network security, IP address management, and SD-WAN.

Experience with configuration, deployment, troubleshooting, and secure management of on-premises virtual hypervisors and platform infrastructure for scale, high availability, and recovery.

Experience supporting/integrating network and virtual infrastructure systems into automated service delivery management.

Experience building office and enterprise-grade networks for on-premises IaaS, HPC, and CSP environments to support secure, scalable production platforms.

Familiarity with compliance management for network systems aligned to NIST 800-171, 800-53, or CIS benchmarks.
