What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or GED equivalent

• 1+ years of experience operating CNC milling or lathe machines

• Strong attention to detail with a focus on precision and quality

• Solid basic math skills for measurements and calculations

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during shifts

• Demonstrated ability to safely operate and maintain assigned machinery and equipment

• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds as needed

What You’ll Do as a Machinist

• Fabricate precision parts according to client specifications

• Set up and operate a wide range of manual and CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines, including mills, drills, grinders, lathes, and horizontal/vertical boring equipment, to perform machining operations ranging from simple to highly complex

• Select, prepare, and grind tools based on material properties, machine capabilities, and hardness specifications

• Utilize various precision measuring instruments to ensure part accuracy and quality

• Accurately document processes and present results in a clear and organized manner

• Perform additional duties as assigned to support production and operational needs
