Join Our Team as a Quality Assurance Technician in Electrical Engineering!

Your role is vital in ensuring the quality and functionality of our advanced electrical products. Located in our Grand Prairie, TX facility, you'll work the 2nd shift from 3 PM to 11 PM, with initial training on the 1st shift over approximately three months.

How You Will Contribute:

• Conduct rigorous testing and inspection of Low Voltage Switchgear and Switchboards to ensure they comply with standards like UL1558, UL891, and IEEE.
• Utilize multimeters and electronic theory to verify power readings and circuit configurations for precision.
• Operate Hipot and other tools necessary for detailed testing processes.
• Deploy specialized software for testing and inspection tasks when required, such as Siemens WinPM and SAP.
• Perform audits on mechanical and electrical assemblies to ensure top-notch quality.
• Documentation and reporting of testing and inspection operations is key to your role.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Basic Requirements:

• A High School Diploma or GED.
• At least two years of experience or knowledge of electrical components.
• Proficiency in reading schematics.
• Demonstrable problem-solving skills in testing and troubleshooting.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.

Preferred Skills:

• An Associate Degree.
• Two years working in engineering or quality roles, specifically with power distribution equipment.
• Familiarity with current codes like UL1558, UL891, UL508.
• Insight into power distribution components such as breakers and relays.
