Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Laundry Aide to support our housekeeping team. The Laundry Aide is responsible for ensuring that all linens, garments, and personal clothing items are cleaned, sanitized, and returned to residents in a timely manner. This role is essential in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene within our facility.

Responsibilities:

• Collect, sort, and wash soiled laundry, including linens, towels, and personal clothing.
• Operate commercial washers and dryers in accordance with safety and hygiene protocols.
• Fold, stack, and distribute clean laundry to appropriate areas.
• Ensure proper labeling and return of personal clothing to residents.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry room.
• Report any damaged or missing items to the supervisor.
• Follow infection control guidelines and safety procedures.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a laundry or housekeeping role preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
