Job Title: IT Salesforce Developer

Worksite Address: Hybrid (1 day per week in the office, preferably Tuesday)

Remote Work Allowed: Yes (Partial - 100% remote work not allowed)

Description of Duties

Responsibilities:

• Complete the integration of the Salesforce system with Snowflake.
• Develop a technical roadmap to replace or enhance aspects of the current systems.
• Design, develop, and deploy custom Salesforce applications using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and other tools.
• Customize Salesforce to meet business needs, including workflows, process builders, triggers, and validation rules.
• Integrate Salesforce with internal and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and other tools.
• Perform Salesforce administration tasks including user management, security settings, data management, and automation.
• Manage Salesforce environments, including sandbox management, metadata deployment, and version control.
• Monitor and maintain data integrity, perform regular audits, and manage data imports/exports.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement Salesforce solutions aligned with business objectives.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and administrators.
• Stay updated on Salesforce platform upgrades, new features, and best practices to recommend system improvements.
• Create and maintain documentation for Salesforce development and administration activities.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Salesforce users.

Qualifications

Required Experience:

• Minimum 9 years of experience in Salesforce Architecture and Development.
• At least 5 years designing and implementing complex Salesforce integrations.
• At least 2 years of Salesforce Administration experience.
• Expertise with Salesforce Lightning, Apex, Visualforce, SOQL/SOSL, and Salesforce APIs.
• Experience with Salesforce integrations, APIs, and third-party app integrations.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, data model, and best practices.
• Experience with DevOps tools (e.g., Copado).
• Proven problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Salesforce developer and administrator certification(s) preferred.

Desired Skills/Experience:

• Familiarity with agile and waterfall methodologies, and their suitability for various projects.
• Experience with Salesforce Government Cloud is a plus.
• Proficiency in advanced Microsoft Office tools (pivot tables, charts, Visio), JIRA, and data analytics.
• Experience with Snowflake, Mulesoft, Informatica Cloud, and Tableau Cloud is highly desirable.
