Financial Analyst

Global Professional Services Organization in Downtown Chicago seeks FP&A Analyst to join the team. The ideal candidate wants to grow their career at a global organization while learning the ins and outs of corporate finance, financial statements, forecasting and planning, month end accounting, and complex financial reporting. This candidate will feel comfortable using insights they have discovered to communicate important themes and discoveries to company leadership utilizing data manipulation tools and creating presentations.

Responsibilities

• Create monthly and ad hoc financial reports from a business unit, regional, and global level including maintaining and updating financial dashboards
• Consistently analyze financial information based on both routine and ad-hoc reports
• Interpret financial data to recognize changing trends, patterns, and their meaning related to key performance indicators explaining variances as necessary
• Process business forecasts and plan models to support business units
• Partner closely with global accounting team and have familiarity around accounting concepts and financial statements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, or Finance or equivalent experience
• 1+ years' accounting or finance experience
• Advanced knowledge of Excel, PowerBI a plus!
