Summary :

At Best Hospitality, we are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Real Estate (incl. hospitality, retail, and industrial) Investment Analyst to join our dynamic team. We are active in the US and UK/Europe in various types of real estate investments with over $200M in assets under management, and are continuously striving to provide exceptional service to our clients. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of the real estate market, strong financial analysis skills, and the ability to think strategically. To be successful in this role:

  • We are looking for a candidate who has a degree in Real Estate, Finance, or a related field, at least 1-2 years of experience in a real estate-related field, and advanced knowledge of Excel
  • We desire an individual with great communication skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a results-oriented approach.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for using their analytical mindset to analyze and interpret financial data, relating it to potential business trends and issues; should be self-motivated, organized, and a team player; will feel comfortable using insights they have discovered to communicate important themes and discoveries to company leadership.
  • Furthermore, knowledge of capital markets and investments is preferred.

The role:

Planning and Analysis (50%)

  •  Analyze financial and accounting data and develop strategies for real estate investments
  •  Identify and evaluate potential risks associated with investments
  • Interpret financial data to recognize changing trends, patterns, and their meaning related to key performance indicators

Modelling (25%)

  • Develop financial models to evaluate potential real estate investments
  • Monitor and update financial models, budgets, accounts, and reports to ensure accuracy and track performance
  • Conduct research to identify market trends and opportunities

Communication (25%)

  • Work collaboratively with other members of the team to develop and execute investment strategies Interpret and assess legal documents related to real estate investments
  • Review finances of operations with upper and onsite management
  • Prepare presentations and reports to communicate investment strategies and results
  • Assist in the negotiation of contracts and other legal documents
  • Maintain knowledge of current trends and developments in the real estate industry
  • Develop relationships with key industry stakeholders to stay informed of market opportunities

Location :

The position is located in the Philadelphia, PA / Wilmington, DE metro area, though for 2-3 days per week the candidate will work remotely and otherwise meet with management on site at various properties.
