Tesla is hiring Process Engineering Technician at Gigafactory New York in Buffalo, NY to support Battery Remanufacturing. What You'll Do Disposition of all non-conforming materials that are produced by the manufacturing lineDay to day coverage of production line process, including rapid response on out-of-control processes to minimize cost and maximize productivityInvestigate and implement countermeasures to improve process Cpk and product yieldMaintain and help develop up-to-date manufacturing instructionsSupport Lean Manufacturing and 5S initiativesWork with Engineering and Manufacturing to ensure maintenance instructions and schedules are always available and current as well as summarize and analyze yield and process dataManage small projects involving multiple departments and/or outside contractors as well as manage workload with positive attitude and proactively help co-workers
What You'll Bring Day to day sustaining MES/MI synchronicitySupport and monitor engineering trialsWeekend coverage of any process-related issues that may occurManaging MN creation/expiry/approvalsProvide direct support to process engineers on continuous improvement projectsOther duties as assigned by ManagerAbility to command the english language both written and verbal

Expected Compensation
Engineering Technician I - $25.93 - $28.90/hourEngineering Technician II - $29.88 - $33.02/hourEngineering Technician III - $32.80 - $38.11/hour
+ cash and stock awards + benefits for all levels
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
