Job Description

• Akkodis is seeking an E ntry-level Electrical Engineer (Product Support) for a job with a client in Everett, WA. For this position you will need a BSEE (or similar, relevant degree) and a strong troubleshooting/problem solving mindset.
• Rate: $30.00 - $33.00/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographics location and other factors.
• Location: Everett, WA
• Duration: 6+ months, possibility of conversion to Salaried/Direct Hire position.

This position requires troubleshooting experience in hardware or software. In this position you will troubleshoot and solve issues involving hardware and software. This position is a 3-6+ month contract position, but it has a good chance of converting to a direct position. This position will be on a day shift.

Job responsibilities include:

• Troubleshoot and solve issues that are brought to team from customers and/or colleagues.
• Execute validation procedures used to test hardware/firmware product release candidates.
• Record data gathered during troubleshooting and testing.
• Possible interaction with other technicians, customer service reps and customers.

Qualifications:

• Strong troubleshooting mindset and ability to get to root cause of issue.
• Technical competence
• Experience in hardware and (preferably) software.
• Ability to clearly communicate both verbally.
• Understanding of microcontrollers and microprocessors.
• Preferred experience engineering physical products, especially medical devices.
• Experience with tools such as oscilloscopes, digital multimeters (DMMs), power supplies, waveform generators and logic analyzers.
• Preferred experience with either medical equipment or mains power.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to follow procedures and directions.
• Experience with MS Excel and Word preferred.
• A.S. or B.S. degree preferred.
