Job Description

Global top tier financial services company is looking for a sharp Director level candidate who will plays a critical role in ensuring the accurate and comprehensive setup of security attributes, issuer attributes, and other data sets that support the investment, accounting, and compliance functions.

*Up to $300k Total Comp (base + bonus, not including equity)*

*Hybrid 3 days/week in office*

This position also involves executing the data strategy, managing key stakeholder relationships, and serving as the primary representative and leader of the Data Management team.

This is a leadership position with a hands-on approach, combining technical expertise, data governance, and relationship management. This role involves not only overseeing a team of professionals but also collaborating with several departments across the organization, such as operations, compliance, and legal.

• The key responsibilities focus on managing the global team, optimizing workflows, and ensuring data quality and governance in the Security Master File (SMF).
• The role also includes addressing issues, ensuring project deliverables are met, and leading audits (SOC-1 and SOX), which suggests a high degree of responsibility and requires an ability to balance operational oversight with compliance and risk management.

Requirements:

• The ideal candidate for this role should have extensive experience in data management, ideally in the insurance or financial services sectors, especially related to fixed income and alternative investments.
• Strong communication skills, a proactive attitude, and technical expertise in database systems and ETL tools are crucial.
• Will manage a global team of 7 who are responsible for accurate setup of SecurityMaster File (SMF)
