Baillie Lumber Co. is hiring a Corporate Aircraft Pilot to join our flight department team located in Hamburg, New York. As an Aircraft Pilot, you will serve as flight crew member and are responsible for the safe conduct of flights to which they are assigned while ensuring compliance with all federal, state, local and foreign regulations, as well as the policies and procedures specified in the flight operations manual.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Be able to perform and complete required pre/post flight duties and inspections of the specified aircraft.
  • Responsible for the safe conduct of flights to which they are assigned while ensuring compliance with all federal, state, local and foreign regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
  • Serves as crew member of flights for which he/she is assigned in accordance with company procedures.
  • Assist with the service, maintenance, and protection of aircraft.
  • Remain current and qualified in the assigned aircraft.
  • Maintain valid certificates required to perform scheduled flight duties.
  • Able to obtain and maintain passports and if required, visas, current international certificates of vaccination and other documents as required to travel to specific international destinations.
  • Must present a team effort approach with great interpersonal skills, attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Assist with handling of aircraft, passengers, and baggage (requires some heavy lifting)
  • Interface with passengers and other company personnel in a professional and courteous manner.

Requirements:

  • Must be based out of Buffalo Niagara International Airport.
  • Able to pass an extensive TSA, PRIA and corporate background check.
  • Citation type rating is desirable but not required.
  • Experience flying in part 91 operation, flying a Cessna Citation Encore+ Aircraft
  • Minimum total flight time to apply.
  • Total time: 2,000 hours
  • Multi Engine: 1,000 hours
  • Turbojet aircraft: 500 hours
  • Cessna Citation Model aircraft: 100 hours
  • Ratings (Commercial license, Multi engine rating, Instrument rating, Airline transport pilot license for pilot in command
  • CE-500 type rating is preferred.
  • Federal aviation second class medical certificate.
  • Experienced in business aviation industry National Business Aviation Association standards and compliance.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or eligible to work in the United States without a sponsored visa.
  • Hold a current and valid U.S. driver's license.
  • Ability to travel freely within the United States and internationally without restrictions.
  • Willingness to work on weekends and holidays.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
