Job Description

Equinox is seeking a driven, high-energy Corporate Account Executive for our state-of-the-art location in San Francisco. 

Account Executives are responsible for achieving or exceeding sales goals and growing the corporate business by proactively fostering existing client partnerships, establishing new relationships and continuously prospecting for new business.  Account Executives pre-plan the quarter, collaborating with clients and teammates to host / facilitate wellness initiatives, events and communication in order to expand the corporate member base and support the client’s health/wellness objectives.   AE’s must have and display knowledge of and participate in all the club's services, programs, and products. Account Executives must stay abreast of trends within the corporate wellness space to be able to best leverage the Equinox offering.  Above all, AE’s must have the ability to build rapport, remain organized, work well on a team and build lasting relationships with prospective and current members/clients in order to continue growing corporate business.  

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Achieve or exceed individual and team sales goals 
  • Account management and administration 
  • Account acquisition and contract negotiation 
  • Plan an annual wellness calendar including events and communication with corporate partners  
  • Support and create marketing initiatives to generate leads on a national scale 
  • Network and foster relationships with various contacts within corporate accounts, including HR, Department leads, C-Level executives and internal influencers, which will strengthen the partnership and increase business 
  • Prospect new business and clients, including existing member base and prospective members 
  • Lead the club-level corporate sales strategy and facilitate daily goal setting with GM  
  • Coach, train and develop membership advisors in our corporate sales process  
  • Execute multiple corporate events and workshops per club for in and out-of-club lead generation 

Qualifications
  • Previous value-based sales experience preferred 
  • A driven, positive, entrepreneurial spirit with a propensity for leadership 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Proven leadership record 
  • Personal passion for health and fitness 
  • Enjoy working within a team 
  • Strong organizational and time management skills and habits 
  • Previous experience with being evaluated on quantitative metrics 
  • Use and proficiency in E-CRM systems preferred 
  • Portfolio Management experience preferred 
  • Pay Transparency - $70 -75K annually ability to earn commissions and bonuses
