Summary PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY : This position provides administrative support and direct client work
for the Child Advocacy Center at Orange County Parent Child Center. This position requires a person who
possesses a keen understanding of best practices as it relates to child centered trauma-informed
care for those children who have been impacted by sexual violence; best practices in supporting
non-offending care providers in the aftermath of an initial outcry of sexual violence; the highest
level of professionalism, strict confidentiality, and professional boundaries.
Duties Administrative :
? Facilitate the coordination and scheduling of the Forensic Interview Process with appropriate
MDT/CAC partners within 72-hour timeframe from the initial referral being received by our
agency.
? Serve as the first point of contact for the non-offending care provider to greet and establish
rapport with the child victims and non-offending care provider within the CAC Setting and prior
to them coming to the CAC.
? Provide support for children and non-offending care givers after the interview process and assist
non-offending care providers with referrals to multi-disciplinary partner agencies.
? Ensure the family room is appropriately ready to accommodate any special consideration that

? Maintain relevant professional affiliations and take advantage of continuing education and
advanced training opportunities.
? Completes 8 hours of training related to diversity, equity, and inclusion biannually.
? Engage in literature reviews, peer groups and other opportunities to stay apprised of best
practice.
? Continue to improve emotional intelligence and sensitivity to various populations and abilities

? Ensure family packets are made up in advance and that all supplies. As they relate to the CAC
efforts, are well stocked.
? Ensure that all necessary paperwork for the CAC case has been presented, discussed and signed
by the non-offending care provider for the purposes of conducting the forensic interview; any
necessary referrals (as appropriate) for outside MDT partners for the purposes of intervention
and follow up care for the non-offending care provider and children receiving services within the
CAC setting.
? Serve as the liaison between non-offending care providers and MDT partners only for the
purposes of a CAC referral with an exchange of limited information (lead by the minimum
information on the intake forms) for the purposes of referral services only.
? Conduct seven (7) day and thirty (30) day follow-up calls with 100% of all clients who receive
services at the CAC.
? Ensure the OMS has been conducted with 100% of all families who come to the CAC.
? Manage victim statistical information, via NCATrak, for purposes of reporting and case
monitoring on a one month and three month follow up from initial intake date.
? Ensure CAC files ae secure in a locked filing cabinet and that the CAC database is always secure
via password protection.
? Provide support to the program director, when needed to support overall programmatic needs.
? Attending scheduled supervision with the program director on a routine basis.
? Provides administrative support, when necessary for the purposes of CAC program needs.
? Other duties as specified by supervisor.
Case review:
? Coordinate and facilitate monthly case review meetings and special case review meetings when
requested.
? Provide case review agenda to all MDT members one week prior to meetings.
? Provide insight as the CAC coordinator at the monthly case review meetings.
? Follow up on case review recommendations where appropriate.
? Data enter case information into NCATrak database and provide reports when requested.

Requirements Requirements: ? Must have at least one year?s experience working within the social service field.
? A minimum of an associate?s degree in criminal justice, social work, education or related field.
