Job Description

Position- Pharmacy Tech

Location- Concord, NH 03301

Shift- Day, 7:00 Am - 3:30 Pm or 10:00 Am 6:30 Pm

Assignment Length- 13 weeks

Guaranteed Hours- 40 hours/week

Pay- Hourly: $40/hr (For Local)

Pay- Gross Weekly- $1700/Week (For Traveler)

Requirements:

• Must be comfortable in acute care setting
• Experience in fast paced acute care facility
• Minimum time in acute care setting is 6 months if recent
• Sterile Compounding experience HIGHLY PREFERRED, not required.
• High school or equivalent required.
• Certified as Technician through an accredited program (PTCE or ExCPT) is preferred not required.

Responsibilities

• Organized medications for pharmacists to dispense by reading medication orders and prescriptions; preparing labels; calculating quantities; assembling intravenous solutions and other pharmaceutical therapies.
• Helped health care providers and patients by greeting them in person and by phone; answering questions and requests; referring inquiries to the pharmacist.
• Maintained pharmacy records and filling physicians' orders and prescriptions.
• Generated revenue by calculating and issuing charges
• Maintained Pharmacy inventory including placing and expediting orders
