Runway connects companies to entry-level talent for jobs so this role is not for Runway but rather for a client of ours. This client is in the pharmaceutical space and they are looking for an associate sales representative to do business development in the field.

They are a fully integrated specialty pharmaceutical company primarily focused on treating addiction and behavioral health through innovative drug and digital technologies. They have taken several products from idea to market and have several promising pharmaceuticals in their robust pipeline.

The Associate Sales Representative is an entry-level field-based position accountable for all sales, activity and financial goals in his/her territory. This job provides a competitive annual salary, full benefits package, bonus eligibility and a company car. The successful candidate will be evaluated at the end of their first 24 months and based on their results may be offered a promotion to “Specialty Sales Representative.”

Key Responsibilities:

Duties include, but not limited to all or some of the following:

· Meet and/or exceed all business and sales objectives

· Sell and promote the company's products to targeted physicians and healthcare professionals who are certified to prescribe company's products in assigned territory

· Develop and maintain professional relationships with customers and accounts in assigned territory

· Analyze the available data to develop specific plan for territory. Plan to include current business analysis and strategy/tactics for growth of business

· Manage territory budget to support sales and marketing activities

· Utilization and proficiency of defined selling model which includes clinical and market access information

· Actively participate in continuous learning and development programs

· Complete and adhere to all administrative duties including the timely submission of expense reports and utilization of the sales platform to record all sales activity.

· Conduct all interactions according to current compliance policies and training.

Experience and Education

· Minimum Bachelor’s degree (science major preferred) or equivalent.

· Associate’s degree plus military experience may be substituted for Bachelor’s degree

· Bonus points if you are a former athlete or had on campus leadership involvement

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Strong presentation, analytical and problem-solving skills

· Organized, self-motivated, proficiency in time management skills

· Computer proficiency in MS Office, Excel, e-mail and internet functions.

· Ability to travel 100% within territory (may include overnight travel and occasional POA/National/Training meetings)

· Must be able to lift 15 pounds

· Must reside in territory geography

· Valid Driver's License and an acceptable driving record. Authorization and ability to drive a Company leased vehicle or authorized rental vehicle
