The Area Manager works diligently to ensure that the homeowner’s expectations are met, and their satisfaction is achieved by overseeing all things related to the building, repairing and the replacing of roofs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Creating and maintaining an efficient mast installation schedule to best satisfy all customer installation demands
· Performing a myriad of management tasks such as building and sending material orders,
· overseeing field and department personnel, managing job costing and goal setting, monitoring daily departmental activities, and identifying issues to accurately recommend solutions
· Collaborating with Job Site Supervisors to develop and implement companywide installation procedures and best practices
· Ensuring crew and homeowner relations satisfaction which may include providing updates on project status, answering questions, and resolving any homeowner concerns and issues during and after the project
· Optimizing the production schedule and output by utilizing Customer Relations Management software and other internal systems
· Analyzing discrepancies in production processes and procedures to devise and implement a corrective plan of action
· Attending all weekly meetings to provide information such as key performance data
· Ensuring compliance with all safety and quality standards related to roofing production, as well as managing project documentation and permitting
· Monitoring inventory of roofing supplies and equipment to make sure all resources are used effectively and resourcefully
· Negotiating with third party carriers for value rates concerning pricing and service
· Performing additional duties and tasks as assigned
Requirements
· Associate's degree in business, Construction Management, or related field Preferred
· 3+ years scheduling experience in construction or field operations
· Experience with workforce management systems
· Proficiency in payroll processing and labor tracking
· Advanced Excel and scheduling software expertise
· Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
· Excellent organizational and time management skills
· Knowledge of construction terminology and processes
· Must be able to pass a criminal background check, have a valid driver’s license and MVR clearance
